The Farmstead has proven to be a summer staple for us and this week was our first trip of the season. Actually, it was an event planned by our cable company for customer appreciation and it ROCKED! The place was closed down and only open to those customers and everything (except food) was free. They usually charge for things like fishing, pony rides and bottle feeding the goats, etc., plus they added face painting and inflatables. Lisa, Isaac, Jodie, Emma, and Isabelle were all there too. All the kids had a super good time and there was so much to do we didn't even make it into the other part of the farm. It was unbelievable! Charlie met up with us after work and it was a good thing because he was the only daddy and none of us gals wanted to bait any fishing hooks! It got us in the mood for more farm and we're really looking forward to future visits!

Isn't it a good thing that we have kids? How would we fill our days otherwise? Maybe we enjoy all the kiddie activities because we are kids at heart ourselves!
