A Few More Kitchen Pics...

My kids really do enjoy walks and exploring. I would like to do more of it and when we go camping, this is one of their favorite activities. The weather has been so pleasant lately that I figured we just needed to make it happen! The Ernie Miller Nature Center isn't too far away and sadly we had never been there before! I called up Jill and they were up for an adventure too! Everyone had a great time and we must go back and do more trails! We picked a shorter route thinking that would be easier for the kids, but honestly, they didn't really even notice how far we walked and were eager to keep exploring. I can't wait to do this again and I need to find some more trails close by too!

Happy Birthday, Sarah!

Sarah's birthday is the day after Sophia's so we have even more celebrating in September! Sarah and Jacob had a Family Fun Night at their school on the Friday after their birthdays so we decided to join them. It was a beautiful night and the kids has so much fun playing tug of war and rolling down the grassy hill. Plus, there was a Kona Ice truck there and that makes any party more fun! Afterwards we walked back to Mer's house where the kids had somehow convinced her and Stacy that a sleepover was a good idea! :) So, more fun was had while Charlie and I snuck out for an impromptu movie night (and by the way, We're the Millers is surprisingly hilarious!)

We had a quick dinner with Grandma at DQ before Sophia's first Girl Scout meeting.

The After Party Party!

After Sophia's "friend" party we switched gears and got ready for the second wave. I figured might as well knock it all out in one day! We had the family over for a very easy dinner of hot dogs on the grill. I made nothing and bought everything. Kind of nice actually! ;) Our countertops had just be installed two days before so I figured if I got 'em, I'ma flaunt 'em!
