We really do love the parade.  It was a bit chilly but it was worth it.  It warmed up enough that the kids could take their heavy jackets off and at least expose their layers of green!  We actually made it through the entire parade this year, which is a first.  I must say though, I think some of the really fun floats weren't there.  Afterwards we went to the children's area where they have inflatables and stuff and someone gave me free tickets for the kids to use on the bounce house, so that was a big bonus!  On the way home we stopped off for a Shamrock Shake!

Vacation Time!

So….I'm so, so, so far behind that I decided to not overwhelm myself with the idea of catching up and I just jumped straight to the good stuff.  All the stuff between then and now has been great, busy, full of holiday festivities and family fun.  

Charlie and I just got back from an amazing 7 day cruise!  We stopped in Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten.  We went with a big group of friends from all over the country and did some trail runs in St. Kitts.  It was so fun, relaxing and simply wonderful to get away with my husband!

Cookie Decorating

Cathy hosted our annual Christmas Cookie decorating party.  A good time was had by all, as usual!  Leo made sure to sample a bit of everything before leaving!

There were only a couple of inches out there, but that didn't stop the begging and pleading to go out and play.  We had a good time even with the little bit we had.
